Key Personnel

COLINET\'s senior staff consists of Peter Colin, Carla Todd and Joel Shwimer, each with decades of experience in fixed income information systems for dealers, banks and portfolio managers. Since the mid-1990\'s, Pete and Joel have been active in the asset-backed securities market, developing reference data, analytics and pricing models sought by issuers, dealers, investors and regulators.

Peter Colin, President/CEO

Mr. Colin, founder and original developer of COLINET\'s technology, brings over 25 years of experience in fixed income technology and analytics. Mr. Colin is the original developer of the COLINET Poolview product for government guaranteed loans and related debt securities.

As CIO at Vining Sparks, Mr. Colin led that firm\'s trading technology and analytic services divisions.  He was the architect of Vining Sparks acclaimed fixed income pricing and analytics capabilities, including developing its first in-house OAS model in 1994.  Previously, Mr. Colin was part of the turnaround team at Warrington Financial Systems (now part of Sungard Brokerage Services), at the time the largest provider of securities processing and investment accounting systems to the capital markets sector of the US banking industry.   His earlier experience includes five years as CIO for Union Planters Investment Banking Group, and both technical and management roles at Control Data Corp.  Mr. Colin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from Swarthmore College.

Carla Todd, Client Services and Support

Previously, Carla worked for Vining Sparks, including ten years as an Investment Accountant focusing on fixed income portfolio accounting, and five years in database management for strategy oriented analysis of depository institutions.

Prior to that, Carla worked as a Staff Accountant at Deloitte and Touche, in their Audit Division. Carla\'s experience also includes loan processing for the Small Business Administration 504 program. Carla received her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Accounting from the University of Tennessee. Carla is a Certified Public Accountant.

Joel Shwimer, Technology Advisory Services

Since 1998, Mr. Shwimer has been one of the leading compilers of financial databases for the SBA government guaranteed debt marketplace, providing related information technology and database services to both buy-side and sell-side customers, including banks, brokerage firms, and asset managers.

In addition, Mr. Shwimer has long been a prominent consultant to the securities industry, in particular SEI Corporation, one of the leading global providers of outsourced business solutions for trust processing, mutual fund processing and investment management for the financial services industry.

Mr. Shwimer’s previous experience was with SEI Corporation as a Vice President and Senior Project Manager for SEI\'s Portfolio Management (INVEST 3000) and Trust Accounting (TRUST 3000) systems.

Prior to that, Mr. Shwimer worked for SD Financial/Warrington Financial Systems as Vice President and Division Manager for the FUNDTRAC Securities Accounting and Bond Analysis Systems, responsible for division P&L, product development, installation and client support.

His experience includes work as ingenieur conseil at Societe Nationale des Petroles d\'Aquitaine in Paris, France, full-time instructor at Sloan School of Management, MIT, and consulting activities for Peat Marwick, Arthur D. Little. and Technology Management Inc.

Joel received a Bachelor of Science in Applied Mathematics from MIT, and his M.S. and Ph.D. in Management Science from MIT\'s Sloan School of Management.
